  1. The refrigerated storage areas floors and roof are supported by a series of reinforced concrete mushroom columns providing even distribution of allowable floor loads.
  2. The 4,800 square foot second floor (ground level) area is supported by steel pipe columns and heavy timber beams. Roof is supported by heavy timber trusses affixed to vertical masonry facings.
  3. Access to all levels is gained form reinforced concrete stairs with steel pipe railings located near the two vertical conveyor units.

Conveyor - Elevator

  • All four (04) levels are serviced by two (02) vertical conveyor units;

  • (1) vintage +/-1947 12' x 12' W/40 HP drive, and

  • (2) vintage 1997 12' x 12' W/7 HP drive (cost $40,000 new),

Refrigeration
