The above dates indicate when the Tompkins County Tax Foreclosure auction and Public Information Session will be conducted. The deadline to pay back taxes has expired. We have 11 single and multi-family residential homes, 1 country estate, 12 parcels of residential, recreational and vacant land and 1 parcel of commercial vacant land that may be available for auction because of the redemption process. We are now compiling the property information that will be posted soon.

If you sign up for "Automatic Auction Notification" (the ugly blue box on the left of this screen) you will be informed as soon as the property addresses, descriptions and other data is posted. We recommend this method of notice because you will be the first to know! Additionally, by this process we can notify you electronically or by First Class Mail, or both, about this and other real estate auctions that we conduct.

The Information Session will be conducted on Monday evening, June 17th at 7:00 PM. The doors will open at 6:30 PM. If you have never attended an auction, never purchased a foreclosure property or have never purchased real estate at auction, it is advised that you attend this meeting. Even if you are a veteran auction real estate purchaser, you might want to attend this valuable information - education session.

The Auction will be conducted on Monday evening, June 24th at 7:00 PM. Auction registration will begin at 6:00 PM. Questions will be entertained at any time during the registration period. Promptly at 7:00 PM we will review the Terms and Conditions of the auction and then sell each property, in consecutive order.

The Information Session and Auction will be conducted at the same location the Tompkins County Human Services Building, 320 West State Street, Ithaca, NY. There is a road map included in the auction information with photographs of the building entrance. Watch for "Reynolds Auction" at the auction site.

Be sure to set aside the above dates! Thank You for your interest in the Tompkins County real property tax foreclosure auction! Tompkins County allows redemption of residential properties until auction day. This WEB site will be updated if and when a parcel has been redeemed.

Note that there are Redemption Penalities that include full payment of the delinquent taxes and an additional ten (10%) percent fee.
